DAY
1: Arrival in Istanbul, the only city in the World spanning
two continents, separated by the Bosphorus. After clearing passport
and customs controls, you will be greeted and tranfered to your
hotel. Free afternoon. |

DAY
2: Full day of discovering Byzantine and Ottoman treasures
in Istanbul. Visit the Topkapý Palace (Imperial Residence
of Ottoman Sultans between 15th and 19th Centuries, with it
priceless world-class collection of jevelery and rare porcelain),
the St. Sophia Museum (constructed as a Basilica in the6th
Century), the Blue Mosque "Sultan Ahmet Mosque"
(unique with its 6 minarets and famous for its blue Iznik
tiles), the Hippodrome Square (site of ancient chariot races),
andthe Grand Covered Bazaar, and the Underground Cistern (time
permitting). Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY
3: After touring Spice Market and enjoy the leisurely
Bosphorus boat tour crossing under the Bosphorus Bridges viewing
the mosques, palaces, old wooden villas and the beauty of the
Asian side to visit the Camilla Hill and tour the Beylerbeyi
Palace, the summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans with its
magnificient gardens. Overnight in Istanbul. |
